Srinivas Raghavendra joined the department in January 2005. Dr. Raghavendra received his PhD degree from Jawaharalal Nehru University, New Delhi in 2002 and his doctoral dissertation was in the area of Keynesian macro dynamics. Apart from macroeconomic theory, his other research areas include Computable Economics, Complex Systems and Computational Finance. Dr. Raghavendra is editor of the Department of Economics Working Papers Series and also Co-ordinator of the Seminar Series.
